The main challenge is finding where they are located as it changes each year

Whether it is on the steps of the Colorado state capitol

The outside of the Denver Convention Center has a modern metal look in some areas of the many blocks the building covers

New Years Day Morning in Denver Size:11"x14" First stop was photographing theFor the first morning of 2014 I headed out to photograph the skyline of Denver as I have done the past couple of years. This morning there was a system which was moving through which prevented a colorful sunrise as we have had the past couple of years. It was still nice to get out and watch the first morning of the year start with Denver as a backdrop. As I left the location some snowflake were present as well.
