4 miles around the entire lake and there were plenty of people out enjoying the nice fall day in the area

I headed up the hill towards the Cliff House

I headed out for some early morning photography in the Denver area with a group of photographers

It was a balance of finding the right break in the clouds as well as an interesting scene to photograph and when a small clearing occurred captured this image

I decided to add another dimension to the process and bring the readers of the blog as well as fans on Facebook into the project and have them vote for their favorite three images during the month of December

So on an evening where there were clear skies I headed out to photograph, and on this evening I ran into the full moon rising over the mountains. I quickly looked for a foreground element to add for this image and found a pair of floatplanes out at the Juneau International Airport to help frame the image on this September evening.
