WW2 Royal Navy WRNS Woman's Ratings Cap Dated 1943 France Has a War Department stamp

Has a War Department stamp but part of it is obsecured

and with exposed Cork on the rim in places

they fought in Albania and Montenegro

Condition is fair to good - no real holes  on folds

Otherwise the helmet is in fantastic condition

Made by J Compton & Sons & Webb and dated 1943. In excellent external condition and good condition overall requires some reshaping and the chinstrap is detached on one side could easily be re attached. Size is hard to read but it is 7 and something in metric it feels like 57
