Sleipnir Gold Ring (Odin's Horse) Main Stone Color:Gold Surface Width: 26mmViking Horse Ring (Sleipnir, Odin's Horse) Sleipnir (The Sliding One) is the eight legged horse of the god Odin. Sleipnir was born when the god Loki shape shifted into a mare and became pregnant by the stallion of a giant, as is recounted in the tale of The Fortification of Asgard. It was the best horse among gods and men, so Loki gifted him to Odin. Sleipnir is not only fast, but it can also gallop by air and on the sea, as the Skldskaparml says.
