This American Malt Whisky is the first release of malted barley that was grown in Loudoun County (along the Potomac River, north of Leesburg). It was then malted, mashed, fermented, distilled and aged entirely in Virginia! A true terroir whisky, this one captures the flavor of the mountains and the river. Aged first in charred new oak, the whisky was then transferred to red wine casks from Fabbioli
