A Rich Harvest - St. Gertrude's College cross Wooden cross is 15cm high"Young and not so young women came from all over Australia and Ireland. They had joined the Sisters of St Joseph of the Sacred Heart, whose founder, Blessed Mary MacKillop, had formed an order for the express purpose of offering education to ordinary Australian girls. This book is the story of our 'Alma Mater', established during the final years of Mother Mary's life and lasting for seventy years". By Anne Carter IBVM and Elizabeth Murphy RSJ
