Octomore 10.2 Grape Variety_Shiraz/Syrah stewed fruits and earthyAn 8 year old Octomore single malt, originally released for the Travel Retail market. This series of Octomore releases from Islay's Bruichladdich explored the idea of "softer smoke", rather than the all out peat bombshells the preceded them. They're still peaty, mind Octomore 10. 2 clocks in at 96. 9 PPM! It spent its first four years maturing in ex American whiskey casks before being moved over to Sauternes casks for the final four years.
