Rare and interesting find- has added elastic on end of straps straps added but could be removed or new ribbon added -

Beautifully made - pleats on the skirt and it has a bow at the rear

40’s black taffetta edged gown Bought in the 40’s/50’s andLong black 1940s wrap dress. Edged in colourful plaid taffetta. Very cute taffetta bow on pocket. These were originally worn as a dressing gown but definitely lovely on as a dress too . It has been in my hire stock for years ! Bought in New York. The dress fits our size 8 slim model very well. She is tall (5. 8) and 34 bust, Puff sleeved. Fastens from back to front with two two long straps. Needs a new hook to side which can be added easily to suit
