It is made from a dark navy wool fabric with a fairly pronounced twill weave, a cloth of Scottish origin according to the label. The coat is double breasted with three rows of buttons. It features slightly slanted front pockets with flaps and has a buttonhole in each lapel. The black silk collar provides a striking contrast
