2008 Bonnes Mares, Grand Cru, Domaine de la Vougeraie, Burgundy World Cup 2026 hay and cereal notesRed Wine Of The Vintage For me, Vougeraie's top reds are the best I have known them and the Bonnes Mares is very impressive and very classy indeed. It has a sense of real energy, concentration and density, with explosive and persistent blackberry fruit and a sensuous, silky texture to the tannins. This is a wine of power and finesse. (David Jones, Fine Wine Sales Advisor) Alas, there is a very limited volume this year of this fabulous Bonnes Mares

Description

hay and cereal notes

this is no blockbuster but has a piercing intensity

is pure silk

Beyond the delightful floral and red fruit aromas is a spicy undertone with a touch of cedar bark

I'd be happy with bottles in the cellar
