Eagle Painting Monet the kind of friendly companionHere a golden eagle is caught mid flight, wings flung wide as it banks low over an alpine valley. The painterly brushwork gives texture to the outstretched feathers, the pale undersides of the wings flashing against barred brown primaries as the bird tilts its head downward in search of prey. Below and behind, snow dusted peaks rise into a breezy sky scattered with soft white cloud, while a band of dark pine forest and bare rock fills the lower scene.
