Tower Of Power – Great American Soulbook (CD) artist-stuart-levine Punk Rock Classic (1:37)Tower of Power have been the gold standard of Bay Area horn driven soul since the late '60s, and putting their muscular, tight as a fist sound to work on the American soul songbook is a natural fit. With George Duke co producing and a guest list that spans generations of soul and R&B, this is a band honoring their roots while reminding anyone paying attention why their horn section remains one of the most imitated, least duplicated in the business.
