La Tulipe On Holiday Newport XVII

Newport XVII

I am currently working through to further develop a series of large scale paintings exploring freedom of expression and color theory

but i didn't fully put it together until I had the opportunity to take mental photographs of all the places I visited with a window with a view

or standing entirely on its own as sculpture

A Series of Unusual Colors stems from my highly creative and exhaustive imagination and is an ongoing collection I am sharing as an artistic project as I add to my own personal color wheel

La Tulipe On Holiday Newport XVIILa Tulipe By Kristen Coates 36"H x 48"W Acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas Signed and dated on reverse This painting has a mate under a separate listing. Confetti Parisian and La Tulipe are identical in tone and size, but one so simple to look at, an unfolding of a tulip, and the other, a bit more detailed, as the confetti pieces tend to be with all their layers. Although solid on their own, they would make a gorgeous pair.
