Rinse thoroughly with warm water and do not soak the product. Wood can swell and be damaged. Allow it to dry completely in the air. As it dries, the color of the wood will appear lighter. To prevent stains and highlight the beauty of the wood grain, occasionally apply canola oil (food grade oil) to your wooden products.
