Oddero, Barolo Vigna Rionda Riserva 2017 750ML non-sitewide with a lovely plushness onThe 2017 Barolo Riserva Vigna Rionda is lovely, understated and very pretty. Sweet red cherry, kirsch, mint and orang peel emerge, but only with great reluctance. That's probably a good thing for its long term aging prospects. Readers should not expect an easygoing Barolo by any means.

Description

with a lovely plushness on the palate as this unfolds and opens up

so it remains to be seen how long and well it will age

Interesting

juicy and expressive finish despite the 16% alcohol

Like all truly great wines
