Julana Massey - Lana Fana’s Parts of Speech Series - What’s This Word They Call an ADVERB? Graphic Novel they educate themselves and othersThis book is about adverbs. The adverb is the part of speech that is generally defined as a word that has the job of giving more information about a verb, adjective or another adverb. Adverbs give the reader or listener the time, manner and or frequency of the verb, adjective or adverb. For example in the sentence, Nikki eats very slowly, the adverb, slowly, tells us the manner in which Nikki eats; and the adverb very, describes the adverb slowly.
