Live Spec

Miles Davis & Quincy Jones – Live At Montreux (LP Vinyl) Xmas Vocal spontaneityThe 1991 Montreux Jazz Festival performance captured here represented something genuinely historic: Miles Davis reuniting with Quincy Jones and the Gil Evans Orchestra repertoire for the first and only time in a live setting, a collaboration that Davis had largely set aside for three decades. It was one of Miles' final major performances before his death that September, making this document both a celebration and a farewell. Vinyl LP pressing.
