Colorado State Capitol in the Fall Size:24"x36" With some mild temperatures early

With some mild temperatures early this week as well as a full moon I have been out working on expanding this group of work as well this week

With the sunlight casting a shadow I spent a little time photographing these elements more so designed to limit skateboarding tricks on the wood

Taking the image towards the sun also allowed me to silhouette the skyline of the city as well as the mountain skyline in the distance

As I made my way through the park I had plenty of runners and bicyclists pass by and approaching the center of the park I noticed this cyclist pass as the employees who rent bicycles started to bring items out for the day along this sweeping path

By being low to the ground the footprints leading towards the building became my central focus to place the viewer in the scene itself and lead them towards the decorated City and County Building

Situated on a hill there is the extra hint of power of the building as you look up climbing the steps to the building.
