1980s Vintage in the Manner of Maitland Smith Biomorphic Tessellated Stone Coffee Table BENCHES AND OTTOMANS PhilippinesOne of my favorite tables. This is the 3rd one I've found in 5 years and its in the best shape out of all of them! The Maitland Smith biomorphic coffee table is a striking example of sculptural furniture design, distinguished by its fluid, organic silhouette and meticulous craftsmanship. Its surface is composed of tessellated stonesmall, hand cut pieces arranged in a seamless mosaic that highlights the natural variations and textures of the material.
