This piece dates to 1879 and was made by David Andersen. The server has an elegant twist form stem and a spade shaped blade. The terminal of the handle features a design of crossed stalks of wheat, with a flower and what looks like a maple seed, all against a textured background. The blade of the server is fabulously hand engraved with an intricate design, with decorative cut out work
