Park Play Equipment wall Dust settles on empty desksConcrete play structures sit beside a highway overpass in Yubari, Hokkaido, pink paint peeling from a dome shaped climbing form while a sculpted stump with cartoonish eyes stands nearby, its green tiled roof still intact. Both pieces occupy a strip of dead grass, the overpass rising behind them. Public infrastructure like this outlasted the population it was built to serve. Part of the Streetscapes of Yubari series.
