Mother and Child Vieve and detailed patterningIn Mother and Child, Julian Yohannes presents a powerful composition of strength and stillnessa woman and her child seated atop a dark bull, set against a flowing, patterned backdrop. The contrast between figure and form is quiet but commanding, offering a portrait that speaks to resilience, protection, and presence without needing to explain itself.
