Paper Splint 5/8 inch wide - 1 pound Basket Kits Once the finish is dryPaper Splint is used for strong chair bottoms. Weave it into your ladderback style and shaker style chairs using the traditional twill pattern (chairs that have 4 rungs around the seat). An interesting material for basketry as well. Not necessary to wet the material when weaving. 1 pound contains about 115 feet, this is enough to bottom a 12 x 12 chair seat. 2 pounds will bottom a 18 x 20 chair.
