Tlingit Wooden Eagle Claw Pipe Elk First half 20th CThis is a fabulous piece of Northwest Coast art made for the market. It is an eagle claw holding an object that hold the pipe. The pipe is a round piece of rusted metal which may or may not be cut from a gun barrel. The object, painted reddish brown has a circular pattern of brass tacks around each end.
