Dormitory Common Area Size:L Spare Parts Storage at BathurstThe common area of Seika Dormitory sits stripped and still, peeling paint and grimy windows the only evidence of the domestic life once organised around this space. Built in 1927 by the Gakuso Foundation to house Taiwanese students studying in Tokyo, the reinforced concrete building operated for 80 years before a 2007 fire displaced its remaining residents. Part of the Seika Dormitory series.
