Rear Residence Topdown weatherboards Colorbond at Lake MacquarieThe rear residence of Big Hill Post Office, seen from above, its roof collapsed and interior rooms open to the sky. The building is part of a two structure complex that served the Big Hill community from 1 November 1869 until 1945. Encroaching vegetation and weathered timber walls record the slow work of seven decades of abandonment. Part of the Big Hill Post Office series.
