Managers Office Wall Colour:Raw Part of the Box HillA gap in the workshop floor level opens onto the electrical workshop below and the manager's offices above at Elrington Colliery. Sections of standard gauge rail, used to run coal wagons through for repair, are still visible beneath the rubble. Elrington Colliery operated from 1930 until December 1962, built by BHP Collieries to supply coal to the Newcastle steelworks. Part of the Elrington Colliery series.
