It is backed in Muslin to give it a little weight but not to feel cumbersome to the wearer - this allows it to hold the almost sculptural shape better

It's an amazing piece and in excellent condition

The Tat Saunders label was quite prestigious in its day - she started out as a boutique at the Ritz Carlton and ended up with four stores in total all of which specialized in customs creations and couture pieces that were brought in specifically for their wealthy clients

The dress is fully lined in a dyed to match turquoise silk chiffon except for the sleeves which are unlined

Her work is exceptional. This dress is a little extra special since it still has its matching silk floral pin and that the dress comes direct from its original owner. Hanae Mori excelled at these beautiful floral prints and when I
