The dress is fully lined in silk crepe and the bust has interior built in underwired cups and small boning around the back

The skirt is kept a solid black for maximum slimming effect

The entire front edges are finished with a ruffle and that same  dramatic ruffle finishes each sleeve as well

Very early in his career he invented a process where he was able to transfer prints and paints onto leather and became known for his leather work after his first collection was presented in 1972 (the other jacket I am listing along with this one is a museum quality example of that
